Dr. Hahn founded MLVH with his wife and business partner, Elizabeth, who is a Registered Nurse, in 1992.

Dr. and Mrs. Hahn have four daughters and two grand daughters.  They share their house in Downingtown with three dogs while the hospital has two cats and a mustached parakeet, "Groucho", in residence.

Dr. Hahn is a native of Chester County and graduated from Henderson High School in West Chester. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, magna cum laude, from Bucknell University.  His Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is from Purdue University.  

Dr. Mary Helen Staruch has been working in relief at MLVH for a number of years.  She is a graduate or the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and resides in Phoenixville with her husband and a number of dogs and cats, many which she has rescued.

Dr. Hahn is proud to be a member of VIN (the Veterinary Information Network) since 1999.  VIN is a collaboration of hundreds of veterinary specialists and thousands of veterinary practitioners who share information, post cases and obtain current information, both formally as CE, and informally through discussions.  As veterinary schools are constantly refining and developing new treatments and diagnostic protocols, VIN is an avenue where practitioners can readily access this information.
