While we realize Internet Pharmacies are here to stay, we want you to be aware of the potential pitfalls of using them. 

Companies may buy products that are not licensed for use in the United States.  These products sometimes may have foreign labeling or may be expired.

Internet pharmacies may be buying imitation or bogus products for re-sale.  It's not surprising that an entire industry has developed just to create such products.  The FDA has issued warnings concerning this practice.

Products bought through the Internet often are not supported by the manufacturer's guarantee. 

Unlike what you might believe, products such as heartworm preventives and flea medications are not much difference in cost through our office.  We have on many occasions called clients to let them know they will be spending more through the Internet than our office.

Lastly, and something that is a bit of a soap box, involves the idea of supporting either large (impersonal) corporations of the world - who really don't know or care about your pet  - or your local veterinarian.   After all, our office supports the local community with school taxes, hiring local employees and utilizing local businesses and products.
